Clinton High School Class of 84

25 Year Reunion

"Back to CSHS- 80's style!"

FFA/Ag: Remember when people used to wear those blue FFA jackets at school? Well, they still have the jackets but it isn't just about farming! Students in the FFA program learn to survey, weld, repair various types of equipment, utilize a variety of technology pieces including complicated GPS systems, use parliamentary procedure during meetings and win national Championships!! Yes, Clinton High School won a national FFA championship last year that included scholarships, a trip to Washington D.C., and equipment for the program itself. This growing program needs funds to attend conferences, provide students with materials, continue the work in the CHS greenhouse, and purchase additional equipment and live stock. Ag teachers Rodney Mann and David Rogers continue to mentor students who pursue studies in fields like environmental studies, agricultural law, food and nutrition, horticulture and various fields. Many students receive scholarships for their work in the FFA program.
